Privacy
Policy.
What happens to what you send us — in plain language, describing what this website actually does.
Last updated August 18, 2026
This website has one form on it. That form is essentially all there is to say about privacy here — we do not run a mailing list, we do not sell anything online, and we do not track you around the internet. What follows is the detail.
What we collect
Only what you type, plus one technical detail. If you send the contact form or the careers application, we receive:
- Your name and email address, which the form requires.
- Your phone number, if you choose to give it — that field is optional.
- What the message is about, and which of the three Daniel’s it concerns, if you say.
- On the careers form, the role and availability you pick.
- Your message itself.
- Which page you sent it from.
- Your IP address. It is recorded alongside the submission. We keep it to deal with spam and abuse of the form, not to identify you.
That is the entire list. There is no account to create, and the site asks for nothing else anywhere.
What we do with it
Your message is emailed to one inbox — info@danielscheesesteaks.com — which is read by the family and the people who work with them. A copy is kept in the website’s own database so a message cannot be lost to a mail problem.
We use it to answer you, and to keep your application on file if you sent one. That is all.
- We do not sell, rent or trade it.
- We do not add you to a mailing list or a newsletter. There isn’t one.
- We do not use it for advertising, and we do not build a profile of you.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is no tracking pixel, no ad network and no third-party script measuring your visit.
It does store exactly one thing in your own browser, and only if you ask it to:
- Which Daniel’s you chose. Pick a store and the site remembers it, so the header can say which one you are ordering from and the order buttons go to the right counter. It is a single value saved in your browser’s local storage — it never reaches us, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
“Use my location”
The button on the location finder sorts the three stores nearest-first. Nothing happens until you press it, and your browser will ask your permission before anything else. If you allow it, your coordinates are used inside your own browser to reorder three cards, and then discarded — they are never sent to us, stored, or shared with anyone. If you decline, the cards stay in their usual order and nothing else changes.
Other companies involved
Some parts of a visit here touch services we do not run. Two of them load as part of the page, which means those companies see your IP address when it happens:
- Google — the map on each location page is embedded from Google Maps, and the site’s typefaces load from Google Fonts.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and handles the requests to it, including storing form submissions.
- Twilio SendGrid — delivers the form’s email to our inbox.
And when you order, you leave this site entirely. Ordering, payment and delivery happen on the ordering platform each store uses — Toast for pickup, and the delivery apps where a store offers delivery. We never see your card details. Once you are on one of those sites, that company’s privacy policy governs what happens, not this one.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept as long as they are useful for answering you and for our own records; applications are kept on file so we can look at them when something opens up. If you would rather we didn’t, say so and we will delete it.
Seeing or deleting what you sent
Email info@danielscheesesteaks.com and ask. We will tell you what we have from you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form to fill in for this and no fee.
Children
This site is for our restaurants and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page and update the date at the top of it. It is the only place these practices are written down.
Questions About This Page?
Anything on this page — a request to see or delete what you sent us, a problem using the site, or a question about these terms — comes to the same inbox as everything else, and a person reads it.
